The main purpose of the project VAR Support is to provide 2nd level product support to the end customers in collaboration with SAP AG Germany. SAP AG provides development support (3rd level). The end customers are located in Germany. Responsibilities: Process incoming incidents which belongs to FI area. Perform analysis of the problem, searching available SAP knowledge repositories for known issues and solutions/workarounds, e.g. SAP Notes, SAP Knowledge Base Articles, SAP Community Network, detect if the issue belongs to SAP standard or it affects some client's functionality. Checking the customizing settings. Connecting remotely to End User’s system as part of the troubleshooting process using the tracing, monitoring, debugging and remote supportability tools made available by SAP, to analyze the issue. Reproducing and validating the problem. Isolating the problem to demonstrate the root cause. Deciding if the Incident is due to a product defect or not: Proposing appropriate system configuration or workaround if the cause for the Incident is not a defect in the Supported Software; and forwarding the Incident to SAP Support if the cause for the Incident is a defect in the Supported Software and if no SAP Note or Support Package is available to solve the Incident. Translate the whole description of incident into English before forwarding it to SAP AG in case if the original description of the incident is written in German. Perform subsequent communication with SAP AG. Testing the solution: Testing, validating and accepting the solution before presenting it to the Supported End User; Working with the end customer to implement the solution; and backing up all relevant data before the solution is installed (when possible). Requirements: Experience in SAP FI at least 3 years Deep understanding of SAP standard functionality in SAP FI for SAP ERP and SAP S/4 HANA systems Analytical mindset English skills (intermediate and above German will be an advantage Experience of work in international enterprises will be an advantage

    Information technology (IT) is the application of computers to store, study, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data, or information, often in the context of a business or other enterprise. IT is considered a subset of information and communications technology (ICT). In 2012, Zuppo proposed an ICT hierarchy where each hierarchy level "contain[s] some degree of commonality in that they are related to technologies that facilitate the transfer of information and various types of electronically mediated communications". The term is commonly used as a synonym for computers and computer networks, but it also encompasses other information distribution technologies such as television and telephones. Several industries are associated with information technology, including computer hardware, software, electronics, semiconductors, internet, telecom equipment, and e-commerce. Humans have been storing, retrieving, manipulating, and communicating information since the Sumerians in Mesopotamia developed writing in about 3000 BC, but the term information technology in its modern sense first appeared in a 1958 article published in the Harvard Business Review; authors Harold J. Leavitt and Thomas L. Whisler commented that "the new technology does not yet have a single established name. We shall call it information technology (IT)." Their definition consists of three categories: techniques for processing, the application of statistical and mathematical methods to decision-making, and the simulation of higher-order thinking through computer programs.
